Stephen Dybal, FoodWorks Clifton, QLD
With a background in the motel industry, Stephen Dybal is no stranger to the hours required to run a FoodWorks store. Having owned an AUR supermarket for 18 months, Stephen was an active participant in the transition of his store to the new FoodWorks branding. When asked about the transition and his thoughts about the new store format and FoodWorks as an organisation, Stephen's comments were:
"They are bigger and better than they used to be, the colours are bolder, they are more professional and the organisation stands out."
Stephen has seen the change and it was definitely for the better.
"There were a lot of AUR supermarkets in the area and we knew a lot of the other owners. FoodWorks has a strong brand and they were very enthusiastic."
"FoodWorks is family based; individual stores are owned by individuals, not by a group of people. The support is always there if you need it."
Stephen sees FoodWorks as a progressive organisation and they always have their eye on the ball.
"A great thing about FoodWorks is the communication amongst the store owners, which is encouraged by FoodWorks. They definitely stand out from the crowd."
